This is another Ring that Elvis was very fond of but just like many of his
pieces he gave them to friends and family, he gave this one to Jimmy Velvet.

Jimmy originated in Jacksonville, Florida, where he became involved in
music entertainment, it was there he met Elvis Presley and they
became lifelong close friends.

After Elvis’ death Jimmy operated an Elvis memorabilia museum in
Memphis for about twenty years.

The man who loved all that glitters was gone too soon, but the jewellery
he took great pride in designing himself, and wearing
on stage and off, resides in museums and in private collections of friend.

The ‘King of Rock and Roll’ epitomized fame and fortune, and his
jewellery collection befitted the ‘King’ he became.

Like the jewellery he wore, Elvis had a magical radiance; it shone from
him like some crazy wonderful aura.
